Austin's Baptism

We were overjoyed this weekend to have an abundance of family in town for Austin's Baptism. Austin is so blessed to have so many people in his life that love him so much. We really missed his God-Parents, Erik and Stephanie, who were suffering from the flu (thanks Cammie and Owen) and of course Uncle Guppy who was stuck on the west coast (move back!). Austin attempted to sleep through the whole service, much like his Great Uncle Les, but woke up when the water was poured on his head. Austin did an excellent job and looked so cute in his suit!

Swimming out of winter...

Our first day at Mommy (and Daddy) & Me was going extremally well. Austin was suprised by the water but not scared. Then Mommy got sucked into the excitement of being in a circle with the other parents singing 'Ring around the Rosie' and Austin got dunked without much thought. Austin did OK, he was a little shocked but did not cry. Again, 'Ring around the Rosie...', dunk, 2nd time Austin comes out of the water and proceeds to projectile vomit down Mommies' bathing suit, twice!!! Daddy is whispering, "Quick, just go under water and wash it off." Needless to say we have a good story to tell later in life.

Snow, snow, and more snow...

There is a good chance that a little weight has been gained since this crazy snow week started. We did get the oppurtunity to take Austin out in the white stuff...he even made a little snow angel. The first dumping brought about 30+ inches and then two days later atleast a foot more. WE ARE SO OVER THIS!!!

Austin @ 4 months

Austin just recently had his 4 month appointment. Besides the dreaded shots, things went really well. He is in the 95% in height (shocker?) and 50% in weight. The high points of this month have been, starting cereal and Austin coming, oh, so close to rolling over on his own. He is such a happy baby and we hope this trend continues.
